Here are benchmarks of the Asus P5K-VM Open Computer using Geekbench:
The machine I was comparing my results to are a 2007 Santa Rosa Macbook Pro, which I bought because Vista is not a compelling reason to ever by a PC again. The only modification made to this machine was the upgrade of 4Gb of RAM:
Results from Open Computer running XP Professional:

Same machine running OSx86 Kalyway 10.5.3 Leopard:

Now to the fun part. After building my system and getting both operating systems to run stable, I overclocked my CPU to 3.0Ghz, Core 2 Duo CPU’s overclock very nicely.
Here are the Geekbench results for the XP Professional OS, now overclocked:

And the Hackintosh OSx86 machine overclocked:

Here is rundown of the benchmark Results:
2.2Ghz/4Gb/120HD/Leopard 10.5.3 Macbook Pro:2778
2.4Ghz/2Gb/250HD/XP Professional Desktop PC: 2690
2.4Ghz/2Gb/250HD/Leopard 10.5.3 Hackintosh: 3160
3.0Ghz/2Gb/250HD/XP Professional Desktop PC: 3285
3.0Ghz/2GB/250HD/Leopard 10.5.3 Hackintosh: 3904
As you can see the overclocked Leopard build runs way faster than XP Pro. On day I may put Vista on this machine as well and then I will benchmark that as well. In the meantime if someone with a similar system has Vista please share your benchmark results.
